Erin Thompson Psychotherapist in Kingston Ontario Canada.  Focusing on  I'm a dynamic therapist who works with adolescents and adults ages 16+. My focus in therapy includes work on anxiety, depression, stress, self-harm, suicidal ideation, eating disorders, bullying, parenting, weight problems, sleep problems, self-esteem, identity, relationship problems, life transitions, loneliness, grief, lifestyle change, trauma informed therapy, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (Processing with rapid eye movement). I take an integrative intervention approach to your therapeutic journey, as every person's needs are unique! I strive to see the world through your window, gain an understanding of your goals, and then collaborate with you to get the most out of your time in therapy.   As a Certified Exercise Physiologist, I'm also happy to include pain reduction and lifestyle suggestions to encompass a holistic approach into your plan if desired.

Erin holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. She works with adolescents and adults aged 16 and older. Her areas of focus include anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, loneliness, grief, body image, confidence, life transitions, and trauma. Erin practices from a trauma-informed perspective and uses Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), incorporating eye movements to support healing and post-traumatic growth. She takes an integrative, client-centred approach and tailors therapy to each individual. Erin is committed to understanding her clients’ perspectives, clarifying their goals, and working collaboratively to create meaningful and effective therapy.
